Market Operation Suspended due to COVID-19 concerns

The Ballarat Market is currently suspended.

We have the health and wellbeing of all our visitors, volunteers, and stallholders as our primary concern .

The Ballarat market is pleased to see the Victorian Governments announcement of the 24th May that Non-food and drink market stalls to open as of 11:59pm 31st May.

The Ballarat Market has both outdoor and indoor areas and different restrictions apply to these areas.

The market management are working through all the published information to ensure that when the market opens it fully complies with all regulations. There will be enhanced measures to protect the stallholders, visitors and volunteers from COVID-19 and these will necessitate changes in the operation of the market.

We realise that there is economic and social loss to all due to the suspension of the Ballarat Market. Stall holders and visitors can rest assured that we are working hard to get the market open as soon as is practicable.

For updates on the situation please return to this website or the Ballarat Market Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/marketballarat/ .
